God's Eye View of the Universe.
To move across the milky way would take light 40,000 years, and this video spans the distance of a galaxy in a millisecond or two. So, 40,000 years is 14,610,000 days, is 350,640,000 hours, is 21,038,400,000 minutes, is 1,262,304,000,000 seconds, is 1,262,304,000,000,000 milliseconds. If we say that that the "camera" in this video is spanning the distance of a milky-way sized galaxy in 1 millisecond, then it's travelling at 1,262,304,000,000,000 times the speed of light. VERY rough estimate.
Explanation of this video/simulation/animation from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, The First Public Data Release from BOSS, the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey .
This video seems to be part of the Total Perspective Vortex as makes galaxies appear as meaningless specks of light. That is the view of the egoist needing validation of the universe. This animation makes your sized galaxy feel small and weak.

"Wanna Join Our Club?"
Another fine and confusing dream/nightmare from the same studio that brought us Betty Boop and Popeye.

Polar Bear Animation
The artist Greg Martin has created an animation of a polar bear walking across a polar landscape. White bears in a white landscape means line animation. The image above is taken from wiki.

Beautiful Mathematics
At Random Website I came across a site called uncontrol. Uncontrol is dedicated to mathematical image creation. That is images that are created by formulas. The above is part of an experiment in making a "wormy shape".

The Counter Strike Player
Gamer Tonight uses the Talk Show conventions to examine different games and gamers who play them. Check out the interview with the Counter Strike player. This player is solely dedicated to the game to point of being only vaguely aware of any other game, "source?". Check out some of the other bits to see how your psychosis is depicted.

Pinky und der Brain in German
Pinky and the Brain was is the greatest thing that Steven Spielberg ever made. It was a story about 2 genetically altered one simply who wanted to take over the world and the other just simple. The German version of the Pinky and the Brain theme song is below.
Here is a mashup of the above song with Rammstein.
Here is acoustic cover, the guitar tabs are here.

Logorama - Animation Through Logos
Logorama from Marc Altshuler - Human Music on Vimeo.
Logorama is a short film made up entirely of logos. The landscape, the flora, the fauna, the people the world are all made up of different logos. In the opening sequence there there is a pan over the city where every building is logo shaped. Most of the story has many pulp fiction elements from both the movie or the genre.
This was posted on Adfreak last February. I only noticed it today.

Where Polar Bears Come Fromm
Many people looks at myths as explanations for how things have happened. However in my view myths are less explanation than explanation within in a world view, culture and religion. They more stories that stress the importance of a culture's world view, gods and heroes, than flat and culture free science and history. The story of creation is more a story of why "the heavens and the earth" were created, Genesis (1.1), then an explanation of how. This short flash animation, Drunk Science, explains where polar bears come from.

Nuclear Testing as Art/Astronomy
Here is a animation/depiction, What the Hell were Thinking, of all the nuclear explosions between 1945 and 1998. Each nuclear state has its color and tone. As the years go by the rhythm of color splotches and soothing tones is relaxing.
Fifteen years ago I saw Trinity & Beyond at now vanished Uptown. The documentary was about nuclear testing and consisted of one beautiful nuclear explosion after another. 1995 was before the Test Ban treaty and the general end of nuclear testing. As someone who wore a radiation badge for a summer job I was deeply impressed.
The image below is a satellite image showing a portion of the Nevada Proving Grounds. The bumps are bomb dimples, not craters, from underground testing. The Google Maps link for below was provided by RoBt in a discussion about What the Hell were Thinking.
