"Imagine Finding Meat" - Mmm

Is it wrong that I found this image appetizing? It is screen grab  from an episode of Grey's Anatomy supposedly of a liver resection. Watching my mouth watered and all I could thing about was liver and onions. I think the message is you should never watch a medical show or documentary when you are hungry.

Or you can be normal.

The Perils of Being a Soap Opera Character

I don't understand why this keeps happening?

Christina Yang; after being in a plane crash,
after having her dislocated shoulder put right without anesthetic,
after watching a friend die,
 after setting a compound fracture,
after telling the pilot of her crashed aircraft he will never walk again,
while tramping through the woods looking
for another friend who maybe dead or seriously injured.

Black Doctors and Asian Doctors

I watch television, not a lot just the average. When the series Grey's Anatomy debuted I noticed something new. Grey's Anatomy was one the first hospital dramas with an major Asian doctor character. This show has 3 black doctors to 1 Asian. In reality there are 3 times as many Asian doctor as black doctors in the US, see study.

Maybe TV doctor demographics are more a reflection of actor demographics than a reflection the US doctor population.
