Sheldon Cooper fictional character from the TV show The Big Bang has posted a video on Youtube as part of his "Fun with Flags" series. This was released in April 2012 and at this point, February 2012, has less then 3700 hits.
Personally, I do like vexillogy and designed my own flag, tat is own this blog. There is nothing nerdish at all about any of that.

I like inventing the geography of fictitious countries. I guess they should have their own flags, too.
